"Malice N Wonderland" is the new studio album from West Coast rapper Snoop Dogg. The album proves to be a decent listen all the way through and features production by Nottz, The Neptunes, The-Dream, Terrace Martin, and Scoop DeVille. While it'll wrong to complain about the production on the album, at times production does sound lazy. 'Malice' does a good job of getting right to the point and not including much extra fluff but the tracks that should be smashes aren't. On the Soulja Boy Tell'Em collaboration, "Pronto," the record plays like something off a Soulja Boy album, instead of Snoop imposing himself. Another track that disappoints is the R. Kelly assisted, "Pimpin' Ain't EZ." The beat is a winner but Snoop's verses are safe and the hook is forgettable. Teddy Riley and Scoop DeVille cook up something fresh and original on "Different Languages" featuring Jazmine Sullivan and this track is the album highlight on the album. Snoop is focused and Jazmine' sultry, smooth vocals compliments him. Hopefully that's the next release from the record. The singles "That's Tha Homie" and "Gangsta Luv" are two more highlights from the album. "Malice N Wonderland" will hit stores December 8th. Highlights are "Different Languages," "Gangsta Luv," "Pronto," "That's Tha Homie," "Upside Down," and "Special."
